Taekwondo is great for complete beginners, and kids with experience, there’s always something new to learn. Taekwondo is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making it a highly accessible martial art. Many students have gone on to national championships here, and have also excelled in track and field, baseball, football, golf, tennis and many more sports after going into high school and life, because of the skills learned here.

What your child will learn
Month 1:
introduction to the basics of striking and blocking. Front snap kick, roundhouse kick, side kick, turning back kick, reverse punch, inside block ,outside block, upper block, down block. We introduce sparring in the second week
Month 2-6:
For the upcoming months we will keep adding new techniques to build up the tools necessary as your child becomes more confident and proficient in Taekwondo.
How Does The Membership Work?
Pay For the Year:
$199 /month
Kids MMA classes are $199 per month paid auto draft, on a 6 month membership with month to month renewal after that.
You may cancel with 30 days notice anytime after your initial term. The child will also get the use of the entire gym, provided adult supervision. Parents can join on any Powerhouse membership and will get the corp rate.

As a member of Powerhouse Gym Elite Redwood City, enjoy 90-minutes of free parking in all city lots. With plenty of spaces adjacent to the building and across the street, you’ll never have to circle for a spot!
